I Can See The Wheels Turning

Jacob is really starting to understand words now and I love it! His latest word is "up" He will only say it when he is on our bed though while pulling up on our bed frame. He will just say "up" over and over. Jacob has also just learned to wave. Matthew and I both just love to make him wave, and we get so excited when he does it on his own without prompting. He typically doesn't wave goodbye, rather Jacob waves to say hello. I think I prefer it that way honestly. Jacob doesn't shake his hand really, he just puts it up in the air. Before he actually started to wave, he would put his hand up in the air and twist it around. The way he he looks up at his hand while he is moving it makes you think he might be saying "wow, that is my hand and I am the one moving it." It is as though you are seeing him think. I have loved watching him learn.

Playing With Iliya

A Day At The Park

We took Jacob to the park to feed the ducks. He loved it. Mainly he liked being outside and eating the bread. He was however curious about the ducks and did reach out for them. Matthew made me a little nervous by sitting Jacob on the ground then placing pieces of bread near Jacob. At times I wasn't sure who was going to get to the bread first, Jacob or the duck.
