First Day Of School
Jacob's first day at Mother's Day Out was tramatic for me. I don't know how mothers that have to go straight back to work after having a baby do it. I just take Jacob to MDO two days a week from 9:15 to 1:30. He stays with a good friend one morning a week as well. I am so lucky to have a job in which I can work from home. To say the least, I cried when I dropped him off, and I picked him up a little early. His teachers Mrs. Judy and Mrs. Jennifer said he did fine. Relief! They told me he had taken a nap and everything. Jacob is a needy sleeper so to speak. He has to be rocked and swaddled. I just wasn't sure he was going to make it in a room full of children, but he did. I will say he took a long nap as soon as we got home. In fact he does most days after MDO. Dropping him off is much easier now. I enjoy being able to get out of the house a bit and really I think he does too. I love going to pick him up though. There is nothing better than when he sees me and starts kicking his little feet and grinninng from ear to ear.
They Have Put Me To Work Already!
Splish Splash I Was Takin' A Bath!
Much to my surprise, Jacob still really loves bathtime. He is learning to splash and loves to eat his frog cover up. Bath is one of our favorite times of day.
